UFC shares video tribute for Ben Askren amid battle with life-threatening pneumonia, MMA world reacts: "We’re all praying"

For context, Askren is currently in the hospital after developing a bad case of pneumonia. His wife Amy has requested everyone to pray for his well-being. As a gesture of goodwill, the promotion's broadcast shared a clip of the former welterweight's time in the octagon during UFC Atlanta this past weekend, urging everyone to join hands for Askren's quick recovery.

Former two-division UFC champion Daniel Cormier, who has a close relationship with Askren, took to Instagram and reposted the promotion's tribute while he watched it on television, writing:
