The UFC Vegas 69 main card featured a light heavyweight clash between William Knight and Marcin Prachnio. With Knight packing explosive knockout power and Prachnio's strong kicking game, the matchup had all the promises of a barnburner.

However, the fight failed to live up to its expectations as Knight put on one of the most lackluster performances in UFC history. 'Knightmare' landed a total of 8 significant strikes over the course of three rounds in a fight that never hit the ground.

Meanwhile, Prachnio went on to decimate Knight's lead leg with vicious kicks, maintaining his calm throughout instead of rushing in for a finish. While 'Knightmare' was initially lazy with his output, he wasn't left with much of a choice as his lead leg was chopped away midway through the fight.

Meanwhile, Prachnio went on to land a record total of 63 leg kicks, reportedly the highest in UFC light-heavyweight history and the 3rd most ever landed in a 3-round UFC fight.

Prachnio even took some damage to his own foot whilst on his record-setting leg-kicking spree. However, the Polish light heavyweight could walk on it afterwards, and believes it isn't broken.

MMA Twitter anticipates William Knight's release after lopsided UFC Vegas 69 loss

William Knight's loss to Marcin Prachnio at UFC Vegas 69 put 'Knightmare' on a three-fight skid. With all of the recent losses coming in lopsided affairs, MMA Twitter believes this might be the end of the road for 'Knightmare'.

Fighters and pundits noted that there was a visible lack of intent on Knight's part at UFC Vegas 69. Fellow light-heavyweight Johnny Walker wrote:

"What just happened? At #UFCVegas69 ? The knight didn’t want to fight ? I wonder what he have to say"

MMA journalist Adam Martin believes that Knight's performance on Saturday night is an example of 'quiet quitting'.

"That’s what quiet quitting looks like. William Knight clearly doesn’t want to be a UFC fighter anymore. #UFCVegas69".

Martin further opined that 'Knightmare' may soon be released from the UFC.

Even the UFC's official account did not fall behind in slamming William Knight's performance.
