Anatoly Malykhin is one of the most feared knockout artists in the sport today. His proverbial "touch of death" has put away many heavyweights with one shot. One of Malykhin's most notable knockouts in ONE Championship was his first-round demolition of Iranian wrestling powerhouse Amir Aliakbari.

The finish was so brutal you would be concerned for Aliakbari's life afterwards. The ONE light heavyweight and interim heavyweight world champion sent the Iranian wrestler into the shadow realm so hard it reminded us of a Fatality sequence in Mortal Kombat.

Anatoly Malykhin's fans club on Instagram realized this and fashioned a cool video presenting the knockout as such.

Instagram users have been expressing polarized feelings in the video, with some seeing it as awesome while some being more supportive of Aliakbari.

Anatoly Malykhin will face Arjan Bhullar in a world title unification bout at ONE Fight Night 8

ONE has made it official: ONE heavyweight world champ, Arjan Bhullar, will step inside the Circle to finally take on interim heavyweight titleholder Anatoly Malykhin in a massive unification bout.

The much-awaited bout for the undisputed ONE heavyweight world title between the two hulking behemoths will take place in the main event of ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video on March 25.

Bhullar has been absent from the Circle since he captured the strap from former ONE heavyweight world champion Brandon Vera nearly two years ago. The Indian-Canadian wrestling specialist was scheduled to face Malykhin at ONE 161 last year but was forced to cancel due to an injury.

Malykhin, meanwhile, has starched everyone in his path since making his promotional debut. Last year, he claimed the interim heavyweight world title before capturing the light-heavyweight belt from the previously undefeated Reinier de Ridder.

Capturing two world titles in the same year in devastating knockout fashion made Malykhin ONE's 2022 MMA Fighter of the Year. Both of his wins in 2022 also earned the heavy-handed Russian double performance bonuses totalling $200,000.

ONE Fight Night 8 will be live and free for North American fans with an active Amazon Prime subscription.
