Reigning ONE heavyweight world champion Arjan Bhullar is hard at work in preparation for his much awaited return at ONE Fight Night 8.

Across the circle from him will be the man who has been chomping at the bit to get a piece of him, interim ONE heavyweight and reigning ONE light heavyweight king Anatoly 'Sladkiy' Malykhin.

The two have been trading barbs outside the cage and on social media ever since Malykhin entered ONE and Bhullar won the world title. On March 24, the pair of bitter rivals will finally get to settle the score once and for all.

Needless to say, 'Singh' is extra motivated in the gym to put away 'Sladkiy' with ease, as evidenced in this video on his Instagram:

"Championship work. Undisputed. We have overcome and endured. No corner was cut."

Overcome and endure all adversity while cutting no corners. This is what world champions are made of.

Arjan Bhullar is showing amazing hands, whether on the ground or on his feet. He's going to need those and more if he deals with the thunderous fists of his Russian foe come ONE Fight Night 8.

Fans in North America can catch ONE Fight Night 8 in U.S. primetime on March 24 live and for free on Prime Video with an Amazon subscription.

Arjan Bhullar questions Anatoly Malykhin's double-champ status

About a month before his bout with Arjan Bhullar was made official, Anatoly Malykhin knocked out the previously undefeated Reinier de Ridder at ONE on Prime Video 5 to become the new ONE light heavyweight world champion.

Hoisting his newly won world title and interim heavyweight strap on both shoulders, 'Sladkiy' was declared the promotion's new double champ.

Bhullar, however, was quickly put on record refuting the title:

"He's [Malykhin] not a 2-weight champ...he's now the light heavyweight champ. It's easy to punch out a BJJ guy with 0 takedown ability. He did what he was supposed to. Let me do what I'm supposed to."

Arjan Bhullar is a former freestyle wrestling Olympian and a former NAIA and CIS folkstyle wrestling national champion. That's without even mentioning the Indian-born Canadian fighter's wicked striking skills, as shown in the video above.

With that, Malykhin will definitely have a different kind of monsters in front of him come March 24.
