Ciryl Gane will get his second shot at the heavyweight title against divisional debutant, the returning Jon Jones. The two fighters will headline UFC 285 which will be held at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada.

Just a day before fight night, Gane completed his final training session and took to Instagram to post about it. The heavyweight No.1 contender seemed to be in his hotel room and uploaded a video of him practicing combos with Fernand Lopez, head coach and owner of MMA Factory in Paris.

'Bon Gamin' looked in good spirits as he showed off rapid hands and also knee kicks to the padded body of his coach. He wrote:

"Last training before SHOWTIME [high voltage sign emoji] [grinning face with smiling eyes emoji] #ufc285."

Gane will look to capitalize on this opportunity after losing out in his last title match against Francis Ngannou. Although the Frenchman was ahead in the matchup, he was overwhelmed by his opponent switching to wrestling and ultimately lost the match via decision.

Jon Jones outlines his mindset ahead of title matchup with Ciryl Gane

Jon Jones is looking to dominate in his new weight class the same he did at light heavyweight. He explained the difference between his mindset and Ciryl Gane's laidback approach to the UFC 285 main event in an episode of the UFC 285 Embedded vlog series.

Jones said:

"I hear that Ciryl Gane's soccer team, his online team, is ranked top sixty in the world. I'm sitting here focusing on combat. He's out here playing video games. The job is to have no mercy at the end of the day, whether he is ready for this opportunity or not."

Jones elaborated on his desire to win:

"There's somewhere inside of him that he thinks there's a chance that he's going to take food off my family's table, that he's going to destroy my legacy, and that's something I take very personal and there's no mercy. Probably in France, he's super popular right now. They don't care whether they win or lose. They're just glad to be here. His coach is in suits, you guys haven't even showered today."
