Conor McGregor was in attendance for UFC 285, featuring Jon Jones' heavyweight debut against Ciryl Gane, at the T-Mobile arena on Saturday night. McGregor made an appearance with actor Jake Gyllenhaal, who is The Irishman's co-star for the remake of the 80's cult classic Road House.

Gyllenhaal also filmed a scene at the venue where he defeated the UFC middleweight champ.

'Notorious' turned coach during a main-event matchup featuring welterweight standouts Geoff Neal and Shavkat Rakhmonov. Conor McGregor stood up from his chair and hollered instructions from the octagon-side, most probably to Neal as his Kazakh opponent is unlikely to understand English. The Dubliner said:

"Let your right hand go. Yes, let your right hand go. Right hand to the head, right hand to the body. Keep that knee from..He's stepping in the middle. There you go, and again, make them meaningful. Yes, beautiful, beautiful."

Shavkat Rakhmonov and Geoff Neal delivered an instant classic, both visibly hurting each other in the opening round. Rakhmonov started outclassing Neal as the fight progressed, while 'Handz of Steel', to his credit, displayed an incredible chin.

A totally battered Neal continued to defend takedown attempts from Rakhmonov even late in the fight, forcing 'Nomad' to sink in a standing rear-naked choke that earned him the finish in the final minute of the fight. The Kazakh called out Colby Covington, establishing himself as a legitimate contender after becoming the first fighter to finish Neal.

Conor McGregor's return fight could be at 185 lbs.

Conor McGregor is currently filming for TUF 31, which features him and Michael Chandler as rival coaches. 'Notorious' and Chandler are subsequently slated to collide in a yet to be decided weight class and date.

While there have previously been talks of a welterweight bout, the former UFC double champ recently expressed interest in 185 lbs. Chandler claims to have no issues with fighting Conor McGregor at middleweight.

The former Bellator champ also stated that the fight could take place sometime after September this year. 'Iron' said during the UFC 285 presser:

"At this point, I don't think it's going to be 155-pounds. Conor expressed that it's going to be 170-pounds. I would love it at 170-pounds... I'll fight him at 185-pounds. I'll fight him in whatever weight class..... I couldn't care less. I just want to fight the man. It would make a lot of sense from the airing of the show [TUF] ending in August for us to fight some time in September, October, some time this fall. I haven't heard of an actual date."
