Newly-crowned ONE featherweight kickboxing world champion Chingiz Allazov absolutely obliterated his way to the golden strap last weekend at ONE Fight Night 6.

Going up against then-world champion Superbon Singha Mawynn, 'Chinga' used a battering ram approach to nullify the technical genius of the Thai striker.

The fight was a tale of two rounds. The first round saw Chingiz Allazov going full Thai kickboxing on Superbon - employing a lot of nifty kicks to the leg, body, and head. Superbon, however, being the superb Thai kickboxer that he is, was wise to nearly everything Allazov threw at him.

In round 2, Allazov switched gears and went after Superbon like a man possessed. The Belarusian striker focused on his perceived advantage: his powerful hands. 'Chinga' battered the then-world champion with ham hocks for fists and put him down three separate times, earning him the TKO victory.

In an expertly broken-down analysis of the fight by kickboxer and coach Nathan Epps on his YouTube channel 'pro striking', we saw how methodical Chingiz Allazov was that night.

Though it may seem like 'Chinga' threw technique out the window in round two, it was all methodical, as Epps pointed out.

Chingiz Allazov calls out ONE lightweight kickboxing king Regian Eersel

Almost immediately after winning the ONE featherweight kickboxing world title, Chingiz Allazov is already looking at greater challenges ahead. The Belarusian world champion is eyeing the lightweight belts held by two-sport world champion Regian ‘The Immortal’ Eersel.

‘Chinga’ did not waste time in calling out 'The Immortal' for the ONE lightweight kickboxing belt. This is a bold move considering Eersel competes 15 pounds above Allazov's weight class.

In his post-fight interview inside the circle, Allazov, who also won a sweet $50,000 performance bonus, boldly proclaimed:

“Thank you [ONE CEO] Mr. Chatri [Sityodtong], thank you ONE Championship and guys, you know, I like a second belt to go [with this] you know. Maybe I fight 77 kilos. This guy, I don’t know his name. Eersel, yes. Yes I like this, we will do this, go!"

If this fight ever happens, it would be an interesting match-up indeed. Being that Allazov's greatest weapons are his fists, he needs to get inside the lengthy frame of Eersel to cause any damage. Not to mention the fact that 'The Immortal' is a naturally bigger athlete. In more ways than one, 'Chinga' will have a brand new set of obstacles to overcome if and when he faces Eersel.

Something tells us that he isn't bothered by this at all.
