Nong-O Gaiyanghadao isn’t just the boss of the bantamweight division, he also reigns over the mats at his gym.

In a recent Instagram post, Gaiyanghadao can be seen bossing his friend Petchtanong Petchfergus around, standing on a towel whilst his teammate mops up the mats.

Pointing out the parts that he has missed, it’s clear that the bantamweight Muay Thai world champion aims for perfection inside the circle and out of it.

Whilst he stands in the center of the mats on a towel, moving just enough to keep warm, it’s clear to see that he is on an island whilst the surrounding area is in need of a mop.

Though at first it’s just a funny video of a moment between two friends helping each other train, it also shows the work that Nong-O is putting in ahead of his world championship defense this Friday:

“Good job brother @petchtanong

In the comments below the post, fans who are excited to see the champion step back inside the circle shared their views on the video:

@johnmong:

“He’s a new staff for cleaning 😂”

@by_danwilliams:

“The new guy looks promising 😉”

@imakelv:

“Oh Kru O, he missed that corner. 😂😂😂”

Nong-O Gaiyanghadao returns this Friday at ONE Friday Fights 1, the first of the promotion’s series events from the iconic Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand.

WATCH: Nong-O Gaiyanghadao demonstrates push kick to flying downward elbow strike

ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O Gaiyanghadao is a master of the fundamentals of striking.

Whilst he may not have the flashiest skills in ONE Championship, everything that the champion does is executed at the highest level. When Bruce Lee said to 'fear the man that practices one kick 10,000 times', he was speaking about fighters like Nong-O.

One of the champion's greatest assets is his ability to chain his attacks together with fluidity, speed and power.

In a video posted by ONE Championship, Nong-O connected with a combination of a front teep to a jumping downward elbow whilst the famous Trainer Gae held the pads.

"Whoops 💪😬 Nong-O Gaiyanghadao defends the ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Title against Russian warrior Alaverdi Ramazanov on January 20 at ONE Lumpinee 1! 🏆 @nongogaiyanghadao"

Check out the Instagram post below:

Trainer Gae is one of the most acclaimed and legendary trainers in the combat sports world. With his reputation for really pushing his students at every possible turn, he’s even been known to let fighters hit him with clean shots during pad work, including the likes of Superbon Singha Mawynn.

Imagine the power Nong-O generated with that teep kick and the crushing force of the downward elbow to bring trainer Gae down like an exhausted bull. Unbelievable.
