Phetjeeja and Janet Todd delivered one of the most entertaining women's kickboxing bouts in ONE Championship history.

After capturing the ONE interim atomweight kickboxing world championship with a sensational performance against Anissa Meksen in December, 'The Queen' returned three months later determined to trade in her interim belt for undisputed gold.

Standing in her way was Janet Todd, a former two-sport world champion with nearly 40 career wins to her credit. Going head-to-head for five rounds, Phetjeeja and Todd lit up the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium at ONE Fight Night 20.

ONE Championship is now looking back at some of the highlights from their epic encounter on the promotion's official Instagram.

After 15 minutes of incredible action, 'The Queen' was crowned the undisputed ONE atomweight kickboxing champion.

Moments later, Janet Todd laid down her gloves and announced her official retirement after 15 years of dominance:

“Phetjeeja is a very talented and skilled fighter and God, I feel so grateful for this to be my last fight, to be challenged like this,” Todd said during her post-fight interview with Mitch Chilson.

Despite closing the book on her iconic career in combat sports, Janet Todd will be forever grateful for the time she had and all the good things it brought her. Not just championships and accolades, but lifelong friends and her husband:

“The biggest takeaway for me in this martial arts career is being able to meet people that are like-minded that want to continue to improve and be a better version of themselves and surrounding myself with people like that because it inspires me to be better," Todd said in an interview with FightWave.
"I’ve met some of my lifelong friends through martial arts and even met my husband through it. It’s a part of my life and I can’t imagine it without it.”
