ONE Championship superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon is officially off the market.
‘The Iron Man’ married his fiance and fellow fighter Aida Looksaikongdin in a beautiful nikah ceremony that took place in their native Thailand. On Instagram, Rodtang shared a video compiling a series of moments from the pair’s relationship, including his proposal and subsequent engagement:
“story of 2 of us From now on we will be together”
It’s clear just from the social media posts that Rodtang Jitmuangnon and his blushing bride are already enjoying married life, but it won’t be long before ‘The Iron Man’ will have to shift his focus to the Circle as he has two huge matchups booked over the next few months. Rodtang’s next trip to the cage will be when ONE Championship returns to the familiar confines of the Singapore Indoor Stadium on March 24 for ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video.
Rodtang will challenge newly crowned ONE flyweight kickboxing world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 in a long-awaited superfight. Six weeks later, Rodtang will return to the art of eight limbs to defend his ONE flyweight Muay Thai world championship against ONE debutant Edgar Tabares at ONE Fight Night 10.

Rodtang Jitmuangnon ready to bring home another ONE world championship
Fans have been clamoring for a showdown between Rodtang Jitmuangnon and Superlek Kiatmoo9. They’ll get exactly that on March 24 when ONE Championship brings the pair together with Superlek’s ONE flyweight kickboxing world championship on the line. In an interview with SCMP MMA, ‘The Iron Man’ believes now is the right time to try for a second ONE world title:
“I will set my goals one by one. First, I will go for the kickboxing belt and next it will be in MMA. I have defended my belt in Muay Thai four times and I think it’s time to move for another belt.”
Depending on how things turn out at ONE Fight Night 8, a potential meeting between Rodtang and Superlek in Muay Thai is a definite possibility, especially with the historic ONE Openweight Muay Thai World Grand Prix scheduled to begin later this year. Before that, Rodtang will have at least one more title defense to get through on May 5 against Mexico’s Edgar Tabares.
