ONE women's atomweight world champion Angela Lee is one of the best female MMA fighters in the world today. Her relentless grappling, coupled with her aggressive striking, has been her key recipe for success. This recipe was in full display when 'Unstoppable' faced striking specialist Istela Nunes back in 2017.

The bout was Angel Lee's second defense of her ONE women's atomweight world title, and it came on the heels of her solid 7-fight winning streak in the promotion. When the opening bell rang, 'Unstoppable' went after Nunes like a bat out of hell. Lee continually stalked her opponent like a striking specialist, using her unpredictable striking to find grappling openings.
The moment Lee got a hold of her Brazilian foe, it was like watching a cat slowly devour a mouse. All Nunes could do was desperately try to wiggle out of Lee's grappling holds, but to no avail. Lee was even able to put Nunes in a Twister position, but credit to Nunes for toughing her way out of the submission.

Come round 2, Angela Lee pretty much had Nunes inside her fist as she had the Brazilian striker tentative with her attacks. Because of this, bringing the fight to the ground was much easier. Once it got there, 'Unstoppable' handily scored the submission via an Anaconda choke.

The blood of a great warrior runs in the entire Lee clan as Angela Lee's youngest sibling, Adrian Lee, recently won an amateur MMA title in their native city of Hilo, Hawaii.
Angela recently posted about her little brother's title win at the Tough Man Hawaiian Show. The young Lee prodigy won his bout via an impressive second-round guillotine choke:

Angela Lee and her brother Christian Lee already hold world titles, while their 18-year-old sister Victoria is currently undefeated in ONE Championship.
