Karolina Kowalkiewicz was thoroughly bemused at the UFC 205 press conference when 'The Notorious' Conor McGregor made an unforgettable retort to Jeremy Stephens.

The 'Polish Princess' burst out laughing after the Irish superstar replied to Jeremy Stephens, who had claimed that he is the "hardest hitting 145er."

A reporter asked Conor McGregor the following question:

"Conor, take a look around you. You've got a lot of champions, a lot of grizzled vets. Who do you think would give you the hardest fight out of anybody on the stage?"

Before 'The Notorious' could reply, Jeremy Stephens chimed in:

"Right here. Right here, the hardest-hitting 145 pounder - the real hardest-hitting 145er, right here. This guy TKOs people, when I knock people out, they don't f*****g move!!"

Following the exchange, the camera pans out, and the Irishman takes a brief moment before replying with the one-liner:

"Who the f*** is that guy?"

Conor McGregor repeated the line thrice to a fumbling 'Lil Heathen' who struggled to come up with a biting retort. Sitting alongside McGregor and Stephen Thompson in the front row, Karolina Kowalkiewicz can be seen bursting into a fit of laughter.

Karolina Kowalkiewicz and Conor McGregor were involved, albeit indirectly, in another infamous incident in April 2018. The Irishman threw a dolly at the window of a bus full of fighters, also carrying Khabib Nurmagomedov, who McGregor was after.

Kowalkiewicz was unharmed in the melee. At the time, Kowalkiewicz detailed the incident in an interview with MMA Flashback. She said that Conor McGregor had sent her an apology and that she wouldn't press charges against him for the incident.

Karolina Kowalkiewicz's 14th promotional outing at UFC 281

Karolina Kowalkiewicz will face Silvana Gómez Juárez in the prelims of UFC 281 on November 12 at Madison Square Garden in New York. The bout will mark her 14th appearance in the organization. She is coming off a second-round submission victory over Felice Herrig at UFC Fight Night 207.

Her bout with Herrig was a rematch after they both met at UFC 223 in 2018, where the 'Polish Princess' won the fight via split decision. After her first win over Herrig, Kowalkiewicz suffered five straight losses. She was able to get back in the win column in their rematch in June this year.
