Conor McGregor has become a worldwide sensation thanks to his remarkable achievements inside the octagon, his larger-than-life personality, and his successful business endeavors outside of combat sports. Yet, McGregor's charitable side is mostly unknown within the MMA world.

'The Notorious' recently appeared on Fox News with Sean Hannity for an in-studio interview. In true McGregor style, the Irishman accidentally dropped an F-bomb while presenting a $1 million check from Proper No.12 Whiskey to Frank Siller's Tunnel To Towers organization.

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation was established in memory of New York Fire Department firefighter Stephen Siller, who was killed on September 11, 2001, during the devastating 9/11 attacks.

The horrific tragedy is still fresh in the minds of millions of Americans, and the organization honors Stephen's efforts as well as the sacrifices of several military members, emergency services personnel, and first responders.

Stephen's final steps have been memorialized by a run/walk event that takes place every year in New York and is widely considered to be one of the best 5k races in the United States.

It was reported last year that the Tunnel to Towers Foundation had raised and distributed over $250 million to assist military and first responder families with their mortgage payments.

Moreover, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation revealed in 2020 that it had received a donation of $1,000,000 from Proper No.12 Irish Whisky. Shedding light on what the donation signifies, Conor McGregor stated:

"When I started this business, it was very important to me to give back. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation supports the brave men and women who put themselves in harm's way every day, we are proud to help them continue their work. These are the people running into buildings when everyone else is running out. They are the people who protect us, who put their lives on the line to save the rest of us. We wish to give back to these proper heroes."

Tunnel to Towers Foundation reacted to the generous gesture on Twitter:

They added that this took McGregor's total donation to the charity to a whopping $3.7 million over the years.
