After watching multiple pay-per-view events hosted in short intervals, fans are somewhat confused regarding the date of the next UFC fight card.
After an action-packed UFC 285 featuring Jon Jones' return last weekend, the promotion will move to the the Theater at the Virgin Hotels in Paradise, Nevada for a promising fight night this weekend.
Former bantamweight champ Petr Yan will take on surging Georgian contender Merab Dvalishvili in the main-event of the next UFC fight card.
Yan is coming off consecutive split decision losses and has gone 1-3 in his last four, starting with a disqualification title loss against Aljamain Sterling back in 2021. Meanwhile, hot prospect Dvalishvili is riding an eight-fight winning streak that could make him relevant in title talks with a win in his next UFC fight.
Heavyweight veteran Alexander Volkov will take on Moldovan standout Alexandr Romanov in the co-main event of the night. While Volkov is coming off a first-round stoppage win over Jairzinho Rozenstruik, Romanov is coming off his first career loss, which stopped a five-fight unbeaten UFC run.
Light heavyweights Ryan Spann and Nikita Krylov, originally scheduled to headline a fight night in February, have been rebooked for a three-round catchweight clash on this weekend's main card.
