Canelo Alvarez got married to his partner Fernanda Gomez in 2021 and has been leading a happy family life since the wedding.
The World Boxing Organization (WBO) also commemorated Canelo Alvarez's wedding to Fernanda Gomez. The WBO dedicated an Instagram post to congratulate the couple on tying the knot in 2021.
"The WBO Family wishes lots of love and happiness to the recently married couple, Unified WBO Super Middleweight Champion Saúl 'Canelo' Álvarez and Fernanda Gómez," WBO captioned the post.
Fernanda Gomez and Canelo had been dating each other since 2016. The couple also have a daughter together, who is one of Alvarez's three children. Fernanda often shares pictures of herself with Canelo Alvarez, along with photos of the entire family.
The stunning Fernanda Gomez is a social media celebrity and has 1.3 million followers on her Instagram account. Furthermore, the Mexican runs a nailbar and boutique in Guadalajara.
The wedding came just days after Canelo beat Billy Joe Saunders to add the WBO super middleweight title to his collection.

Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez's quest to unify the super middleweight titles saw him defeat several high profile opponents like Callum Smith, Billy Joe Saunders, and Caleb Plant. He is officially the WBA (Super), WBC, IBF, WBO and The Ring super middleweight champion.
Canelo took a major step up in May 2022 when he challenged the light heavyweight king Dmitry Bivol for the title. However, the challenge proved to be too much for the decorated Mexican boxer and he lost the bout via unanimous decision.
The 33-year-old bounced back from the loss with back-to-back wins over Gennady Golovkin and John Ryder to defend the super middleweight titles. He is now set to take on junior middleweight champion Jermell Charlo on September 30, 2023.
Alvarez was linked to a fight with Jermell's twin brother Jermall Charlo. However, the middleweight champion has been on a long hiatus from competition and stepped aside to give his brother the opportunity.
But Jermell Charlo will take a two-division jump from the junior middleweight division to fight Canelo, which is considered as a major disadvantage for him. The oddsmakers heavily favor Canelo Alvarez to walk away with a win. Many experts don't see a path to victory for Charlo in the fight and predict Canelo to win by a knockout.
According to WBC President Maurice Sulaiman, interim champion David Benavidez will be next for Canelo if he beats Charlo on September 30.
