Lightweight Fight: Amir Khan vs. Ev “ET” Ting

'The Knockout King' Amir Khan entered the MMA ring in front of his home crowd in Singapore to take on Ev Ting. The fight saw Khan batter Ting in the first round with an extreme elbow from a clinch which caused him to bust open, with the right side of his face a bloody mask.

However, somehow Ting continued to fight. But he was left with a target on the side of his face, which Khan decided to go after for most of the second round.

The third round saw both of them caught in a battle where neither fighter seemed to be able to get the upper hand. A head kick saw Khan in trouble, but Ting showed his courage by inviting attacks. It was a superb fight which Khan was able to win via split decision much to the pleasure of the crowd.

Bantamweight World Championship Fight: Nong-O Gaiyanghadao vs. Saemapetch Fairtex

Nong-O Gaiyanghadao saw the first round through without much action as he was measuring up his opponent. However, the second round saw Saemapetch learning the meaning of the term 'saved by the bell' as he was taken out just at the bell with a three-uppercut combination.

After being taken out twice, the third round saw Saemapetch open big with a couple of really big shots. He was able to make Nong-O go down to one knee and forced him to take a lot more punishment than had been the case earlier.

Nong-O started the fourth round bigger, dropping Fairtex immediately, but Fairtex dodged a later-high kick and landed shots of his own. It would not matter.

Later in the fourth round, Nong-O landed a right hand that saw Fairtex fall straight back, completely knocked out.

Results: Nong-O Gaiyanghadao defeated Saemapetch Fairtex via KO (Round 4, 1 minute and 46 seconds) to retain his title.
