ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon Singha Mawynn is preparing for his headlining fight at ONE on Prime Video 6 on January 13 but that has not stopped him from taking a step back and relaxing.

In a recent post on his official Instagram account, the Thai superstar shared a photo of himself along with kickboxing legend Nong-O Gaiyanghadao and trainer Suthat Muangmun, better known as Trainer Gae, as they went out on a boat to catch lobsters.

Superbon (113-34) will defend his title against challenger Chingiz Allazov (59-5) of Azerbaijan/Belarus in the main event for ONE on Prime Video 6 at the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.

It will be his second defense of the belt he won over Italian-Armenian icon Giorgio Pestrosyan via knockout in October 2021.

Prior to ascending to the top of the pecking order in his weight class, Superbon defeated his longtime rival Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong in his ONE Championship debut.

The 32-year-old retained the ONE featherweight kickboxing world championship by beating Armenian-Belgian Marat Grigorian by unanimous decision in March last year.

Against Grigorian, the kickboxing champ was simply not to be stopped as he was in his element. He was then impressive to use his back foot, low kicks and step-in knees, while his evasion skills were on full display to continuously frustrate his opponent on the way to a convincing win.

Now, in Allazov, 32–year-old Superbon is facing an opponent who dominated the ONE world kickboxing grand prix with three straight impressive victories to earn a title shot after losing in his promotional debut in April 2021.

Not one to underestimate his opponent, reigning ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superbon is leaving no stone unturned as he prepares for his title defense against challenger Chingiz Allazov of Azerbaijan/Belarus in the main event for ONE on Prime Video 6.

In a video posted by ONE Championship on its Instagram account, watch how he turns up the pressure as he trades kicks with Trainer Gae in their camp in Thailand.

The marquee featherweight kickboxing showdown, which had been rescheduled twice previously, marks the second world title defense for the Thai world champion.

It will also serve as the high point for ONE on Prime Video 6, which is designed to be a striking arts-heavy offering from ONE Championship as it kicks off its 2023 calendar of events.
