Greatness could await Christian Lee in the main event of ONE on Prime Video 4 on November 18 inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The reigning ONE lightweight king will look to become a two-division world champion as he tries to pry away the ONE welterweight world title from Kiamrian Abbasov.

At just 24 years old, ‘The Warrior’ has barely scratched the surface of his immense potential. ONE fans have witnessed how Lee quickly emerged from the shadows of his older sister Angela and became his own man.

The Singaporean-American has 20 wins inside the circle, including a ridiculous 94 percent finishing rate. He has also won seven of his last eight fights.

While he may have stumbled on some roadblocks along the way, Lee always came back a better version of himself each time.

Before Christian Lee tries to become a dual-world champion at the expense of Abbasov, let’s take a trip down memory lane and recall his five best career performances inside the circle.

#5. Christian Lee humbles Dagi Arslanaliev

Christian Lee’s desire to fight anyone anytime was on full display during the historic ONE: Century in Tokyo, Japan in 2019.

Dagi Arslanaliev was left without a dance partner after Eddie Alvarez withdrew from the ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix Championship final due to an injury. Lee, who just began his first stint as lightweight world champion at the time, came in and saved the day on just 10 days’ notice.

Even without a full training camp, ‘The Warrior’ fought the dangerous Turkish fighter and outlasted him for 15 minutes. Lee’s versatility was on full display, as he took Dagi’s best shots on the feet and countered with some punishment of his own.

His resiliency and durability were evident on the ground as well, as he outwrestled the Dagestan BJJ world champion en route to a unanimous decision victory.

#4. Christian Lee Avenges DQ loss to Edward Kelly

Lee is a calm and collected fighter, but he’s also quite a vindictive lad.

He faced Edward Kelly at featherweight early in his career back in 2018. Lee was dominating the Filipino in every facet and was rag-dolling him all over the circle. Midway into round one, Lee picked up Kelly and performed a wonderful suplex.

The violent throw caused ‘The Ferocious’ to fall hard on his neck. Under ONE’s previous unified ruleset, the arc of that throw was deemed illegal and Lee was disqualified in the process.

A few months later, Lee was again matched up with the Team Lakay star and left no stone unturned this time. Lee asserted his dominance from the get-go and got into full mount. He rained down hellfire with vicious punches and elbows for the TKO finish.

#3. Christian Lee dethrones Shinya Aoki

Christian Lee was thrown into the lion’s den right away in his debut at 170 pounds. After all, he was matched up with none other than the division’s best at the time, Shinya Aoki.

The Japanese legend put Lee through the grinder in the opening round, taking him down and beating him up with some punishing ground and pound. Most pundits thought it was a wrap after ‘Tobikan Judan’ locked in a nasty armbar that had Lee writhing in pain.

But the MMA prodigy soldiered on and showed his toughness by escaping that precarious position.

After barely surviving round one, Lee roared back in the next canto and finished the job. He cornered the Japanese legend near the ropes and let his fast hands go, forcing the referee to intervene.

#2. Christian Lee's first title defense vs. Timofey Nastyukhin

Lee’s doubters thought his world title reign would be short-lived since he drew knockout artist Timofey Nastyukhin in his first defense.

The United MMA and Evolve MMA superstar shut his naysayers up once more by taking care of the Russian in less than a round.

Lee took the fight right to Nastyukhin and traded bombs with the heavy-handed foe right in his comfort zone. He clipped the challenger with a well-timed left hand. Sensing his opponent was hurt, Lee’s killer instinct took over and he pounded Nastyukhin into oblivion for another highlight-reel TKO finish.

#1. Christian Lee's total annihilation of Ok Rae Yoon

Ok Rae Yoon put an end to Lee’s magnificent six-fight winning streak when he took away his belt last year. While the South Korean fought valiantly for five rounds, many believed that Lee should have won that closely contested decision.

After taking some time off to reinvent himself, Lee came back with a vengeance and took back what was his. This time around, ‘The Warrior’ made sure to leave the judges out of it.

Their rematch at ONE 160 turned out to be one of the most lopsided world title bouts in MMA history. Lee proved he was the superior fighter in every second of that fight, punishing Ok on the feet and the ground.

He let out all his frustrations in the second round when he nailed Ok with an overhand right. The Singaporean-American followed it up with a barrage of savage knees on his downed opponent.
