Round 1: Curtis Blaydes and Francis Ngannou met in their long-awaited rematch. The first time, Ngannou had won, pushing Blaydes aside. After the second round Blaydes could not continue as doctor had stopped him. On this occasion he came looking for revenge, against a less active Ngannou who had lost his last two fights.

No one had been expecting what came when the two fighters faced each other as within seconds of the fight starting Ngannou came out with a big shot. He took out Blaydes' legs and followed up with an incredible Knockout punch. He then pounded him as he headed and looked for the win.

That was it, Francis Ngannou got the stoppage, which Blaydes did not look too happy about, but was too late to do anything about it.
