Jorge Masvidal and Conor McGregor have been going at each other for weeks now and their banter is quickly garnering a lot of eyeballs, and the MMA community certainly hopes that a possible super-fight between the pair materializes.

The 'BMF' champion Masvidal has added fuel to the fire by claiming that he is willing to move to lightweight. Now, no one can argue with the fact that Masvidal is next in line for a shot at the welterweight title against the winner of the main event at UFC 245 between Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington.

However, who would not want to take up the biggest money fight in the UFC against arguably the promotion's biggest star ever? Masvidal certainly isn't one of them. A fight between Masvidal and McGregor will do crazy numbers because of their charisma inside and outside the cage and even stylistically, it will be a match-up between two of the best strikers in the promotion, so there is no reason why this fight will not be booked if both fighters agree.

In a recent tweet, Masvidal stated that he can make the 154 lbs limit for a lightweight fighter in the UFC, indicating that he wants to face the outspoken Irishman inside the Octagon.

"Yes it is true. I can make 154. #theresurrection"

Masvidal could also fight Boxing Hall of Famer Floyd Mayweather in the latter's comeback fight inside the boxing ring, given Mayweather fights at a similar weight class as McGregor's.

Whoever he chooses to fight up next, Masvidal is presently the face of the fight game and he is willing to scale greater heights on the quest to further his 'BMF' legacy.
