Speaking of Conor McGregor, there has been a lot of reaction from the MMA community for his actions in attacking the elderly man in the bar.

The most clear-cut opinion of the matter was had by his former UFC 229 opponent, Khabib Nurmagomedov. The UFC Lightweight Champion was extremely frank about what he felt should be done about McGregor, saying that he deserved to be jailed following the incident -- as we reported earlier in the week.

“I can imagine if I punch this guy, how many media are going to post it and talk about this bad, like about me bad. It’s like a really really bad thing, you know? Even if old guy like this guy in video, even if this guy punch your face 10 times, you can’t punch this guy’s face. You can’t. This is like impossible, you know? We have to respect old people. “They have to go jail like we have problem with visa, why like this (expletive) guy don’t have problems with visa in the U.S.A.? How (can the) U.S.A. give him a visa, or something like this?”

Another man with an opinion about McGregor's assault was none other than the UFC President, Dana White.

White said (via MMA Junkie) that this was a part of dealing with successful and rich fighters, bringing up the example of Mike Tyson.

“You get to the point where you look at a guy like Conor, and you look at the bus incident in New York and all the other things. You look at the camera, the phone and the guy who took the picture of him in Miami when he slaps the phone. What’s the number? What’s it going to cost Conor McGregor before he decides, ‘All right, this isn’t worth it. Enough is enough. I need to stop doing this,’” White said. “The incident in New York cost him millions. Millions he had to pay out. He had to pay the guy with the phone. What’s he going to pay this guy that he hit in the bar? The list just goes on and on. I just don’t know when he wakes up and says, ’I’ve got to stop doing this.’”
