Boxing aficionados will appreciate the new video ONE Championship released this week of Fabricio Andrade training for his upcoming fight.

The Brazilian superstar is due for a rematch with former bantamweight titleholder ‘Hands of Stone’ John Lineker after their first match ended in a "No Contest." Their highly anticipated showdown is set to take place in Thailand on February 24th at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video, which Andrade, for one, is fervently preparing for.

On Tuesday, Andrade was seen drilling his boxing and Muay Thai skills with a new piece of equipment called a Boxmaster Tower. ONE Championship released the footage with a caption that said:

“Fabricio Andrade works the angles 🥊 ahead of his rematch for the vacant ONE Bantamweight World Title with John Lineker at ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video on February 24! 🏆”

Watch the clip below:

‘Wonder Boy’ Fabricio Andrade is counting down the days until he’s named the new ONE bantamweight king. The 25-year-old sensation was disappointed in his recent performance against John Lineker, claiming he was so eager for a finish that he accidentally landed a low blow against his opponent.

Now that he has a second chance to reverse what he started, Andrade is careful not to repeat the same mistake twice.

ONE Fight Night 7 is live and free for North American fans with Prime Video.

Fabricio Andrade started the new year training in his home country

Fabricio Andrade started the year 2023 with only one thing on his mind: revenge.

It’s no secret Andrade believes John Lineker may have over-exaggerated his injury in their last match, despite his rival showing proof of his broken cup in the aftermath.

Nevertheless, rage and frustration is a great motivator for Andrade. He began the year 2023 by training in Brazil for his rematch. Speaking to Blackbeltmagazine, ‘Wonderboy’ said:

"I actually didn't have enough time to go home to see my family so I went straight to Rio de Janeiro. I wanted to get some training there. There's always a solid gym out there so I had some good training and just doing a lot of new stuff, getting more stuff introduced for my new camp."

On February 24th, Fabricio Andrade intends to throw off his opponent with some new tricks he’s learned in the last month.

It will be intriguing to see what else he’s going to bring to the table. Perhaps, Andrade mixes things up with a couple of takedowns of his own or outboxes Lineker again from the outside. But one thing is for sure, Andrade has all the tools to make this rematch into another dogfight.
