Jake Shields confronted a Twitter 'troll' at the UFC Performance Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada.

According to Shields, the troll, whose name is Mike Jackson, is a former UFC fighter who fought CM Punk in his second fight with the promotion. Jackson continually berated the retired fighter, calling him a Nazi and making other such offensive remarks towards him.

Shields posted a video of himself confronting the 'troll' and beating him up. He captioned the post saying:

"Finally ran into the b***h Mike Jackson. He quickly discovered the difference between calling people Nazis In person vs on Twitter. This racist is lucky so many people were there to save his pathetic racist a**"

He added:

"For those who don't know @TheTruthJackson is fighter who is a black nationalist. He's 3/4 white and grew playing lacrosse. He's called me a nazi and said white people are no better than cock roaches."

Jake Shields wanted to show the 'troll' the consequences of trash-talking on Twitter. Jackson was on the ground as Shields mounted him and worked his way to a dominant position before unleashing a few punches. Bystanders then quickly tried to separate the pair as the welterweight was heard asking people to "get this m*********er" off him.

Jake Shields had enough of the trash-talking and racist remarks against him. The former UFC fighter was not successful in his mission, even after the altercation, Mike Jackson went back to trash talking on Twitter and calling him a Nazi. Even though Shields is retired, he challenged Jackson to a fight in the cage with no time limit:

"Hey @TheTruthJackson I'm at XC now come by and we can go in a cage no timelimit and ill show you how I treat racist"

Fans sided with Shields as they were thrilled to see a Twitter troll experience the consequences of his words and actions. Jackson has fought 4 times in the UFC with one win, one draw, and two losses.
