Months ago, Dana White was mistaken for Joe Rogan. The incident took place on the Sage Steele Podcast on March 27. During the pair's conversation, the host, Steele, confused White for Rogan when asking him about his personal dream.

Fortunately, White took the mixup in stride, responding to Steele's question with humor and wit. Among the jokes White made, was one at his own expense, pointing out that he started balding long before Rogan ever did.

"Did you just think I was Joe? Did you just call me f***ing Joe Rogan? You thought I was f***ing Joe Rogan? I was bald before Joe was ever bald."

However, it didn't end there, as the UFC CEO revealed that this wasn't the first instance of him being confused for Rogan, with civilians on the street occasionally congratulating him on The Joe Rogan Experience.

"I will be walking down the street and people say, 'Oh my God, can I get a picture with you?' And I'm like, 'Yeah.' They say, 'I love your podcast, I watch every one of them.' Like, they think they just took a f***ing picture with Joe Rogan."

While both White and Rogan are in completely different positions in the UFC, they both have backgrounds in combat sports. White was once a boxercise instructor, though his clientele did not consist of aspiring fighters. Instead, they were wealthier clients simply looking to stay in shape.

Rogan, meanwhile, is a Taekwondo black belt and even considered pursuing a professional kickboxing career before being dissuaded by the health risks involved.

Dana White and Joe Rogan have a well-known friendship

While Joe Rogan is a UFC employee, his first stint with the promotion was not nearly as profitable as it has become. He and Dana White are close friends, with the popular podcaster once claiming that he wouldn't commentate for a promotion that wasn't run by White.

In fact, Rogan took a step further by claiming that if White were ever to go his separate way from the UFC, he too would part ways with the promotion.
