While Khabib Nurmagomedov has retired from mixed martial arts, his cousin, Umar Nurmagomedov, is looking to become the latest champion from the family. Similar to his cousin, as well as his younger brother, Bellator lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov, 'Young Eagle' is undefeated in his career.

The No. 11-ranked bantamweight has a professional mixed martial arts record of 16 wins and no losses. He has two knockout victories, seven submission victories and seven decision victories.

Nurmagomedov doesn't currently have an opponent for his next bout as he has accused the top-ranked bantamweights of avoiding him. He recently took to Twitter to call out Sean O'Malley:

"Today we spoke to Sean Shelby and he said many fighters have changed their phone number and email because they tired of hearing my name, @SugaSeanMMA only guy don’t have fight but I was told he’s too busy going to the beauty salon to change his hair color. I’m coming @danawhite"

Nurmagomedov followed that up a week later by telling O'Malley he would finish him in less than three rounds while urging the bantamweight division to call him out:

"Please save this tweet if you ever fight me I will stop you in three rounds you are very average nothing about you is great"
"Call my name Anybody from bantamweight"

Sean O'Malley has not responded to the call-outs as he appears to be waiting for a title opportunity. While Umar Nurmagomedov is willing to face any bantamweight, it is unclear who he will be matched up against in his next bout.

Khabib Nurmagomedov's father once labeled Jon Jones as the top fighter in mixed martial arts

Jon Jones is widely regarded as the greatest mixed martial artist of all-time. Prior to his move to heavyweight, Khabib Nurmagomedov's late father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, labeled 'Bones' as the top fighter in mixed martial arts:

"Jon Jones got his talent from God... Jon Jones is #1 out of all fighters. Maybe not in terms of behavior or the law or something else, but I'm confident that he'll wipe out the top-five heavyweights. Two guys are uncertain, but he'll wipe out the rest. That's my expert opinion."

Jon Jones made his heavyweight debut at UFC 285 this past weekend. As Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov predicted, 'Bones' was able to dominate his opponent, needing just over two minutes to defeat Ciryl Gane and become the heavyweight champion.
