WWE/MMA News: JR blogs about Brock Lesnar at UFC 200 and Ronda Rousey at WM 33
Talk about exchange offers!
Jim Ross, whose opinion is widely respected in the pro-wrestling world, has put forth his views regarding Brock Lesnar’s one-time salvo at UFC 200 and what implications this carries for the company going forward, reports WrestlingInc.
He states that Mark Hunt is a dangerous prospect for Lesnar to face, especially after such a lengthy lay-off from actively participating in MMA, given his propensity to knock his opponents out cold.
But all is not lost in terms of what the WWE can glean from the situation as Brock Lesnar’s participation at UFC 200 has unlocked the possibility of a Ronda Rousey appearance at Wrestlemania 33, he feels.
While he acknowledged that a rematch against Holly Holm, possibly at the Madison Square Garden would be a tempting prospect should it come to fruition, he also added that Rousey not being booked for any event in the UFC calendar currently bodes well for the WWE’s prospects of luring her in.
