Timekeepers can summon her from the Blue Lullaby banner, which she shares with the forthcoming 6-star character, Tuesday. They both will enjoy a boosted drop rate on the banner, which will be available until December 26, 2024. Barbara is a 5-star Spirit Afflatus Arcanist armed with Support, Shield, and Heal tags.

Barbara in Reverse 1999 deals Mental damage and grants buffs and shields to allies with her skills. She can also debuff enemies and do much more with her incantations. Here are the details of her skills:

  • Troubled Sleep (Basic Skill 1): Deals damage to two enemies and inflicts Fear status on them.
  • Chat on the Lawn (Basic Skill 2): Grants a shield to all allies based on Barbara’s attack.
  • Another Jump This Way (Ultimate Skill): Buffs Barbara with Another Jump This Way. She enters the Dream Visit status and grants a shield based on her attack to all allies.

  • Dream Visit: Barbara can only cast her Ultimate and special incantations while this status effect is active. Her random card draws convert into random incantations for her teammates. At the end of each round, she gains Moxie and a prepared incantation, Counting Sheep.
  • Counting Sheep: Before the AP (Action Point) resolves, the incantation in front of the Counting Sheep gets one rank added, and the one behind gets one rank deducted.

Barbara’s Inheritance or Passive Skill is a Germ-Free Bedroom. At Insight I, all allies gain damage reduction at the round’s end if no action is taken in the current turn. At Insight II, she gains damage heal buff while entering the battle. At Insight III, she recovers a percentage of her max HP if she is in Dream Visit status at the round’s beginning. If HP is above a certain threshold, adjacent allies receive healing instead of her.

Barbara in Reverse 1999 takes the role of a healer. Timekeepers can use Lucy of Intelligence Afflatus, Marcus of Plant Afflatus, Tuesday of Spirit Afflatus, Windsong of Star Afflatus, Jiu Niangzi of Mineral Afflatus, and Melania of Beast Afflatus for the DPS role.

One can use any characters that deal Mental damage and synergize with the DPS they are using for the Sub-DPS role. Timekeepers can pair Barbara with AP-hungry characters who tend to cast high-rank incantations.
