Keeping that in mind, here are the best Animuses to select in the Targeted Summon banner.

1) Helkid

Helkid can deal area damage to enemies with his Crystal Strike and Shroud Barrier skills, and also grant Shield to allies and protect them from debuffs with the Shroud Barrier effect. Furthermore, he can decrease the enemy’s attack and apply Stun on them.

In addition to applying various debuffs and buffs, Helkid can deal a decent amount of damage to enemies. You can use him in any content, but he especially shines in boss fights.

2) Tiamat

Tiamat is a potent DPS unit that can tank damage for her allies. She can also grant Shield to allies, heal them over time with her Seal of Life skill, and apply Taunt on enemies with the Eternity skill. The Animus can also increase the healing allies receive with the Bloodshed effect.

Note that she consumes her own HP while using her skills. So, use robust healers such as Freya with her. Tiamat performs exceptionally in PvE content with a healer. However, she might be less suitable for PvP game modes due to her HP-consuming ability.

3) Rilmocha

If you want an Animus capable of clearing enemy waves swiftly and dealing high AoE damage, select Rilmocha in the Etheria Restart Targeted Summon banner. Her Candy Attack skill deals Splash damage equal to 33% of the total damage she dealt. It can go up to 100% if the first three hits kill an enemy. Candy Hit is a huge source of damage in her kit. On top of that, she can recover her HP after attacking enemies with the Dessert Time skill.

Her Handle Gently skill can also apply a speed debuff and Stun on enemies. She can also help allies by reducing their skill cooldowns by one turn after killing an enemy with her passive, Sweetheart. Rilmocha doesn’t require much help from her allies to survive, making her one of the best DPS characters in Etheria Restart.

4) Borgne

Borgne is one of the best characters to choose from in the Etheria Restart Targeted Summon. His Starcaller skill’s damage scales with the number of enemies present on the battlefield. It inflicts 480% damage to all enemies if there are four or more.

Additionally, it can dispel one buff from the enemy with Starcaller and launch an extra hit for every enemy he defeats. Starcaller ignores the enemy’s passive while attacking.

His Nightbane skill increases his max HP at the battle’s beginning and deals additional damage based on his HP. Borgne can also steal life from enemies with his Darkness Devoured skill. The only downside to his kit is that he can’t land critical hits. You can use him as a sub-DPS with a robust DPS Etheria Restart character.

Beyontin is a support-type character capable of increasing the Turn Meter of her ally with the lowest Turn Meter. Her Soul Whirl skill can make an ally act immediately, regardless of their turn. It can also reduce allies’ skill cooldowns by two turns, revive a fallen ally, and summon the dead ally’s spirit on the battlefield.

Her kit has an Underworld effect that reduces the damage the ally takes and also revives a defeated ally. She can also buff all her allies’ attacks and critical damage with her Karma Abyss skill. You can select her in the Etheria Restart Targeted Summon banner if you want an excellent support character.

The five Animuses listed above are the best to select in the Etheria Restart Targeted Summon banner. That said, here are some alternatives worth considering:

  • Lilith: She can decrease the enemies’ speed and inflict the Stun effect.
  • Rahu: He can transfer debuffs from allies to enemies, boost his damage, and survive longer with defense-increasing buffs.
  • Rosa: She can reduce her enemies' Turn Meters, increase her Basic Attacks’ damage, buff her allies’ critical rate, and debuff enemies’ speed. Rosa has an excellent synergy with Khloros.
  • Khloros: He can reduce Animuses and Shells’ skill cooldown. Khloros can also boost his damage output, decrease the damage he takes, and deal decent damage to enemies overall. However, he needs a high investment in order to work as the main carry of a team.
