Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson returned to the practice field ahead of his season debut this Sunday against the Houston Texans.

Watson was suspended for 11 games on August 18, 2022, after the NFL and the NFLPA reached a settlement for his sexual harassment allegations from 24 massage therapists.

He was fined $5 million and wasn't able to participate in team activities, such as practice. On November 28th, 2022, Watson was officially reinstated and added to the 53-man active roster.

Watson took to the practice field this week as he prepared for his first start of the 2022 season.

Hayden Grove, who works in sports and social media for clevelanddotcom, posted a clip of Watson throwing balls to receivers in drills. In the clip, Watson completed one out of three passes, while two receivers dropped passes.

NFL fans trolled Watson following the clip, while others expressed their disgust that he will be back to playing football.

Here's what fans said about the video of Watson throwing to the Browns receivers:

After sitting out the entire 2021 season and much of the 2022 season, Deshaun Watson is set to make his season debut this Sunday vs. his former team, the Houston Texans.

This will be the first time in nearly two years that Watson will step onto the football field in a regular season game.

Before the season started, Cleveland awarded Watson the largest contract with the most guaranteed money in NFL history. He signed a new, fully guaranteed, five-year, $230 million deal with the Browns even before being suspended for 11 games this season.

Sunday will be Watson's first game back and he will get a chance to showcase his ability on the field. The Browns are tied for last place in the AFC North with the Pittsburgh Steelers at 4-7. Nonetheless, they will be hoping Watson can maybe turn the season around and spark a late playoff run.
