NFL star offered WWE developmental contract

As noted earlier, NFL prospect Morkeith Brown was recently reported to have been in the WWE’s radar and has been closely monitored by the company.

In a recent interview, the burly star admitted to turning down an invitation to sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers side. He instead chose to sign a developmental contract with the World Wrestling Federation.

He was quoted as saying:

“They flew me down for a workout in Tampa and said they were interested in signing a developmental deal,” Brown said. “After the championship game with the Soul, I came back down to Orlando.”

Brown is one among the many stars that the WWE want to rope in from the NFL division.
