AdriÃĄn Colunga PÊrez is a Spanish footballer who plays as a striker for La Liga club Getafe CF. After an unsuccessful stint with Sporting de GijÃŗn's, AdriÃĄn made his professional debuts, on loan, in the third division with Marino de Luanco. He also appeared for the Sporting's B side in the 2004-05 season. In January 2006 he was released by GijÃŗn and, after a spell in the fourth division and another in the third, joined UD Las Palmas in level two, scoring 13 league goals for a Canary Islands' side. Colunga was then bought by Recreativo de Huelva for a four year contract worth âŦ2.7 million. In his very first game with the team, he scored the game's only goal in an away win against Real Betis. He made history when he scored a penalty kick in a 1â4 loss at Deportivo de La CoruÃąa. In 2010, Colunga was loaned to Real Zaragoza in the top level, until June. He scored on his debut eight days later, in a 3â1 win against CD Tenerife. On 5 August 2010, Colunga was sold to Getafe CF as part of the deal which brought Kepa Blanco in.
