Alberto Botia

Alberto Tomás Botía Rabasco is a Spanish footballer who plays for Sevilla FC as a central defender. At the age of eight, he started his sports career with CD Beniel and joined Real Murcia. He made his official debut with main squad on 30th May, 2009. Alberto was summoned for the Spanish U-19 team for the "XXXIII International Atlantic Cup" on 7th February, 2007. Thereafter he received his first call up U21 with Norway. He was selected for the first time as a full time player on August, 2011 and later in the same year he was honored as the third best Spanish U-21 Central Defender by the respected Fútbol Draft Awards. His impressive form display marked him at the tops player's list.
