Alberto Frison: A Brief Biography

Alberto Frison is an Italian footballer from Mirano, Italy who currently plays as a goalkeeper for Calcio Catania. His father Lorenzo Frison was a former football goalkeeper, who played professionally for teams such as Palermo and Pescara. Alberto Frison started his professional career at Veneto and played for Treviso\'s youth set-up from 2000 to 2007 and part of the Primavera under-20 team since the season 2005-06. His profile was primarily chosen as the first choice goalkeeper for the Primavera squad, before being promoted to the first team in 2006. Frison officially joined Vicenza Calcio during the 2008 summer transfer window. After a couple of seasons on loan to Genoa and Frosinone, Alberto officially joined Calcio Catania with agreement on a 5-year contract on July 6th, 2012. Alberto also plays internationally and has already, capped for Italy U20 team at 2007–08 Four Nations Tournament and was called–up to U21 Serie B representative team on October 1st, 2010. He also received a call-up from Italy national under-21 football team for the first time and played the both legs of 2011 UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship .
