Alejandro Alfaro Ligero is a Spanish footballer who plays for RCD Mallorca in La Liga as a right winger and can also operate as a second striker. He has two brothers who are also footballers. A product of Sevilla FC's youth system, Alfaro is considered as one of their prized players who helped them achieve promotion to the second division in the 2006–07 season. He made his first-team debut on 30 April 2006, playing ten minutes in a 2–1 away win against Real Sociedad. In 2007, Alfaro scored his first La Liga goal, as a starter in a 4–2 win at Levante UD. In the 2008-09 season he joined CD Tenerife on loan. He was instrumental in their rise to the top, scoring a career-best of 20 goals. The following season, he was loaned to Tenerife after which he returned to Sevilla for 2010–11. Finally he signed on with RCD Mallorca on August 8th, 2011 and started in his first official game to win against RCD Espanyol.
