Alex Tchuimeni-Nimely: A Brief Biography

Alex Tchuimeni-Nimely ,also known as Alex Nimely, is a Liberian-English football striker who currently plays for Manchester City. He began his career at Mighty Barrolle and Cotonsport Garoua and moved to Manchester City on a trial in December 2007. On 16 January 2008, Nimely signed a four-year deal with Manchester City and made his debut during a 6-1 win against Burnley on April 3rd, 2010. Thereafter, Alex played with Middlesbrough for a three-month loan contract in 2011, making his first appearence in the League Cup against Crystal Palace. After this he signed a loan deal with Coventry City on January 12th, 2012. He scored his first goal on his debut in a 3-1 win over former club Middlesbrough. On 12 May 2010, Nimely rejected a call-up from Liberia for 2010 World Cup qualifiers and declared that he chose to play for England, as his father is English. Nimley scored first goal on his debut and very soon received the call-up to England U-20 for the 2009 U-20 World Cup.
