Alexander N'Doumbou: A Brief Biography

Alexander A. N\'Doumbou was born in Port-Gentil, Gabon to a Gabonese father and has a Chinese mother. N\'Doumbou is a Gabonese international football player of Chinese heritage. He currently plays for French club Marseille as a wide midfielder. He started his football career at the Gabonese club- AS Sogara and joined local club FC Carpentras in the south of France at the age of 12. He later had a stint at Martigues before joining Marseille on a trial. Following a thoroughly impressive performance at the trials, N\'Doumbou was offered an aspirant (youth) contract. Soon he became the captain of the Marseille under-17 team that won the 2008–09 Championnat National Under-17 league title in season 2008-09.Thereafter, Alexander signed his first professional contract on November 18th, 2009 and made his professional debut against amateur club Trélissac on January 9th, 2010. On 10 August 2011, N\'Doumbou joined Orléans on a one-year loan. N\'Doumbou also plays for the Gabon national team having earned his first call up to the team by former coach Alain Giresse in November 2009.
