Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva

Alexandre Rodrigues da Silva is a Brazilian football player who currently plays for AC Milan and the Brazilian national team as a striker. His nickname is \'Pato\' comes from his place of birth, Pato Branco and popular as \'Alexandre Pato\'. He started playing football from his hometown. Soon his ability of playing became known all around the south Brazilian state. However, his family decided that he should sign for Sport Club Internacional and signed the sport club Internacional in 2006 at the age of 16. Though his brilliant and impressive performances , Alexandre Pato professionally signed by AC Milan on August 2nd, 2007. He scored first goal for the Sport Club Internacional of the FIFA Club World Cup on December 13th and win the South American Youth Championship 2007. Although pato took part at the 2009 Confederations Cup in South Africa and selected for London 2012 Olympics in the Brazil Olympic Football team.
