Ander Iturraspe

Ander Iturraspe Derteano is a Spanish professional football player who plays as a defensive midfielder for Athletic Bilbao in La Liga. He began his football career to joined with Athletic Bilbao in the year 1999 at the age of ten. Ander initially played with various junior levels of the club in several seasons and signed the club CD Baskonia in the fourth division in 2007. Thereafter he was professionally promoted to the Athletic senior team in the year 2008, after played a total of 30 matches for Baskonia. His first top flight appearance in a 0-0draw at Malaga CF and second appearance came as a substitute in the club win against Real Valladolid. He represented Athletic in a Spanish Cup match against Recreativo de Huelva to replaced at half-time by Pablo Orbaiz and got a chance to played in 60 official games in the season 2011-12, behalf of veteran Carlos Gurpegui by his physical problem. Though Ander Iturraspe also played for the UEFA Europa League and the domestic cup finals.
