Andrea Poli Biography

Andrea Poli is an Italian football midfielder who plays for Serie A club Sampdoria. Poli began his career at Serie B native club Treviso, soon he moved to Serie A club Sampdoria in 2007 and made Serie a debut ,lost against Cagliari. Poli played with the Serie B club Sassuolo on loan in the season 2007-08 for gaining experience and return to Sampdoria , he became a key player of the side in 2009. By his impressive form of playing , he signed by Internazionale on a long-loan season in August 2011, where he scored his first Inter goal in the Coppa Italia win against Genoa C.F.C in January 2012 and quickly moved to Juventus in a co-ownership deal with Sampdoria. As his international career, Poli played in the squad at the 2008 U-19 European Championships and made his debut with the Italy U-21 against Sweden in 2009. Although Andrea Poli was called up for the 2009 European Championships and debut with the Italian senior team in August 2012.
