Andres Palop

Andrés Palop Cervera is a Spanish football goalkeeper who plays for Sevilla FC. Palop started his professional football career at Valencia CF, he played for Valencia B from season 1995-97 and Valencia from season 1997-2005. During the season 1997-99, he played for Villarreal on loan and signed by Sevilla in 2005, where he started to play as the main keeper. Soon , Palop became a premiere player with Sevilla and made a headlines, as he played an injury time in the UEFA Cup round of 16, scored equal goal against FC Shakhtar Donetsk. He managed to stop 3 shots from the penalty spot in the shootout, played against Espanyol. However, Palop played for Spain at Euro in 2008 but never gained an international cap.
