Antonio Amaya Carazo (born in Madrid, Spain) is a Spanish football player who plays as a central defender for Real Betis. Antonio 's older brother, Iván, is also a football player, plays as a central defender and played for Madrid-based Atlético and Getafe CF. Antonio started his football career at San Cristobal de los Angeles and moved to the another club Rayo Vallecano in the year 2002. He then played on a six-month loan spell at UD San Sebastian de los Reyes in Segunda División B in 2004 and returned to Rayo Vallecano, becoming an important defensive unit for the side and comfortably maintained its league status. Thereafter, Antonio signed a three-year contract of the club Wigan Athletic in August 2009, during this season he played on long-loan with Rayo until 2011 and finally signed Real Betis a three-year contract in July 2011.
