Asier Illarramendi Andonegi is a Spanish football player who plays as a midfielder for Real Sociedad. Asier began his career at the club Real Sociedad and spent the vast majority of his first four senior seasons with the B team of 27 games and scored two goals in the season 2009–10, he then moved to the Segunda División B though in the last day of the Segunda División campaign, Asier made his first appearance, in a 1–4 away loss against Elche CF. Thereafter, he made his top division debut loss at Villarreal CF in January 2011, in the following month , he appeared as a starter, playing in another away defeat against RCD Espanyol. Although Asier Illarramendi represented his country at Spanish national team, at Under-17, Under-19, Under-21 and Under-23 levels.
