Benjamin "Ben" Watson is an English football midfielder who currently plays for Wigan Athletic. Watson inaugurated his professional career at Crystal Palace where he made his debut against Watford towards the end of the season 2002-03 at the age of seventeen. Along with he was one of the six nominees for the "Carling Cup New Talent Award" in the year 2006 as well as his named as Palace's "Young Player of The Year" at the end of the season. After spending some years with the club Ben signed the club Wigan Athletic in January 2009 and quickly moved to Queens Park Rangers (QPR) on loan in the same year that will keep him until January 2010 where he scored his first goal for QPR against Barnsley in September 2009. Finally he signed on loan for Championship club West Bromwich Albion basically until the end of the season 2009–10 and returned back to the Wigan Athletic. Even though , as his international career he represented England in the under-21 team.
