Benoit Cheyrou

Benoît Cheyrou is a French football midfielder who currently plays for Olympique de Marseille in Ligue 1. He often acts as deep-lying playmaker for the attack and popular for his vision , distribution and assistances. Benoit started his career at his hometown club Racing Club de France where he trained and moved to the Lille, there he made his professional debut in November 1999 , after suffering from an injury he came back in the season 2000-01 to Lille. Cheyrou attended in 27 league matches scored one goal along with he signed the club AJ Auxerre in 2004, he appeared in a career-high 35 games for the season as well as scored two goals. Finally, he joined Marseille with a four year deal for €5 million for his services in 2007. Despite the fact, Benoît Cheyrou is a former French youth international though he represented his nation at under-19, under-20 and under-21 levels.
