Blerim Džemaili is a Swiss footballer of Macedonian-Albanian origin who plays as a midfielder for Napoli. Blerim started his professional career at Swiss side FC Zürich in 2003 at the age of seventeen. In the following season, he scored two goals in 30 appearances and left Zurich with twenty-three matches and three goals. He then moved to Bolton Wanderers in February 2007, where he suffered a caustic knee injury and go through a lengthy recovery. Thereafter Džemaili joined with Torino with an option to asset him for €2 million in the year 2008. Finally he signed a 5-year contract with Napoli for €9 million in 2011, before he had played with Torino and Parma on loan in the season 2009-11. As well as Blerim Džemaili is a member of the Swiss national team, and was called up to the 2006 World Cup.
