Borja Oubina

Borja Oubiña Meléndez is a Spanish football player who plays for Celta de Vigo as a defensive midfielder. Before joined with Celta De Vigo\'s youth team in the year 2001, Borja had previously played for several local youth teams in the previous year. During the season 2003-04,he played at the first team against Valencia CF and participated in the UEFA Champions League. After a long time, he signed Birmingham City on loan with a one-year long contract in 2007 but he played limited games, after made his debut, his spell was instantly cut short with a severe knee injury. Thereafter he returned to the Club Celta as well as he emphasized in fourteen more games in the season 2008-09 and got the treatment in the next season. After recovered Borja Oubiña appeared in 28 matches and helped Celta de Vigo to return to the top division after absence of a five-year. Still he earned two caps for the Spain national team in 2006.
