Brynjar Gunnarsson: A Brief Biography
Brynjar Björn Gunnarsson is an Icelandic football midfeilder who plays for Reading. He started his mainly professional football career at the Stoke City in 1999, before he has played with KR Reykjavík, Vålerenga, Moss on loan and Örgryte IS . Bjorn spent four years with Stoke City where he made 131 appearances and moved to the Nottingham Forest on a free transfer in 2003. Thereafter, he signed with Reading in 2005,before he has been the member of the Stoke City on loan and Watford. On November 13th 2006 Björn Gunnarsson signed a contract extension to keep him until June 2008. From 1993 till 1997, he was cobbed nineteen times and chipped in four goals for the Iceland national U-19 and U-21 squads as well as, he took part in 74 games and contributed four goals for the senior national team from 1997 till 2009. .
