Courage Pekuson is a professional footballer who was born on 2 January 1995 in Ghana. He plays as a midfielder for his side. He most recently featured for Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League.


Pekuson started playing football while he was young. He joined a club called Al-Nasr and started his journey in professional football. He also represented the Under-23 side of Ghana.


He started his youth career with the club Al Nasr. After playing for the club for some time, he joined Sohar SC on loan. After this, he joined the Slovenian Club Koper and made his professional debut for the club on 20 August 2016 against NK Radomlje.

He scored his first ever goal for the club against the same side on 22 October, 2016. He made his debut for the Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League on 17 November 2017 against Atletico de Kolkata.

Rise to glory

The best part of Pekuson’s career came when he signed with the Kerala Blasters for the 2017 edition of Indian Super League. Because of playing in a league as renowned as the Indian Super League, Pekuson got international reputation and started his journey on a new level altogether.


While playing for the club Koper, Pekuson once received the Player of the Week honour for the Slovenian PrvaLiga because he scored well against NK Radomlje on 11 March 2017.
