Gomez started his professional career at Racing Club. He played there for two seasons before moving to San Martin de San Juan in 2015 on a loan.
He played 28 matches for them and scored 3 goals and returned to Racing Club after 1 season. He was a much improved player and gave some valuable performances for the team during the 2016 season.
