Marcos Bolados: A Brief Biography
Marcos Nikolas Bolados Hidalgo is a Chilean professional football player. He was born on 28 February, 1996 in Antofagasta, Chile. He mainly plays the role of a forward striker playing as Right Winger and is currently playing for Chilean Primera División club Universidad Católica.
Background
Bolados began his career at Deportes Antofagasta as a young player aged about five and then shifted to its senior squad in 2013 playing there for three years and scoring five goals in fifty-three appearances.
Debut
Bolados made his debut for the Chile U20 team with the 2015 South American Youth Football Championship which was a 2–1 lost match against Brasil held on 15 January 2015. He debuted for Chile national team on 24th March, 2018 with the International friendly match against Sweden, where he scored one of the goals. Chile won the match 2:1.
Rise to glory
Bolados made goal on his debut with the national team in the International friendly away match against Sweden held on 24th March, 2018. He came as 71st minute substitute for Angelo Sagal. He even assisted the goal of Alexis Sánchez for his team which won the match 2:1. Currently, he dons two caps for the national team. He was also called for the friendly away match against Denmark held at Aalborg Portland Park on Tuesday, Mar 27, 2018 at 7:00 PM.
Club career
He started his senior career with the Primary Division of the Deportes Antofagasta in 2013 after playing for them in his youth career. He moved to the club Colo Colo on 27th July, 2016 for an undisclosed fee. He played in the 2016 Copa Chile and 2017 Supercopa de Chile for the club. He has scored no goals in the thirteen appearances he made.
On Jan 11, 2018, he was loaned to Club Deportivo Universidad Católica (CDUC) for a loan fee of £133k and made no goals in the six appearance he made for it. On 31st December, 2018, he is to return to his club Colo Colo.
